PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority) courses are training programs designed for individuals who work in the private security industry in South Africa. These courses are designed to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to operate as private security officers, and to comply with the regulatory requirements set out by PSIRA.

PSIRA also offers courses for individuals who are interested in working in armed security positions. These courses, such as the PSIRA Grade C course, cover topics such as firearm safety and handling, and provide individuals with the necessary training to operate as armed security officers.
